The Department  of Finance, Financial Planning and Insurance offers a B.S. in Finance, with Options in Financial Analysis, Financial Planning and Insurance. Finance majors receive among the highest average starting salaries of business graduates.The B.S. in Finance is designed for students who are interested in working in the financial sector or who would like a more financially-oriented general business education.  There are three options: Financial Analysis, Financial Planning and Insurance.The finance minor is designed for students who would like education in the basics of financial analysis without taking the complete business curriculum. the Option in Insurance is for students who are interested in working in insurance or risk management, and the Option in Financial Planning is for students who are interested in becoming financial planners and taking the CFP exam.
